Kitchen Porter - NMW

  • To assist in the running and managing of a section of back of house
  • To ensure that all kitchens are of an exceptional standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
  • To complete cleaning jobs in the allocated time
  • Awareness and implementation of waste controls
  • Manage tasks as per cleaning schedule, and ensure that tasks are completed to the standard required
  • Understand the different crockery and cutlery for all areas of the business
  • Adherence to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programmes
  • Fully understand how their role contributes to the success of their department
  • Ensure procedures are carefully followed at all times
  • Be uncompromising in achieving company standards
  • Accept full accountability for their own performance and actions
  • Be able to prioritise tasks and demonstrate effective time management
  • Report directly into the Sous Chef on duty

Day Porter - Full Time £13,500 per annum

Serving guests in a hospitable manner to ensure positive guest experience during arrival and departure. To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel and Conference operation.


The role involves-

Valet parking therefore applicants must have a full clean UK driving licence
Luggage assistance
Setting up and looking after conference groups
To ensure all function areas are clean and tidy
Must have knowledge of hotel services, features and amenities
Respond to guest calls/requests for Porter assistance
 Must have excellent customer service skills
Must maintain good personal standards of grooming, hygiene and presentation.


The hours of work are 40 hours per week 5 days over 7, shift times between 6am -11pm.

Linen Porter - NMW, Part Time

House Keeping and Linen Porter posts available. Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Duties include maintaining public areas and bedrooms and related duties as required. No live-in available. Must have access to transport due to hotel location.
