Public Area Cleaner - National Minimum Wage

The role of the Housekeeping Public area attendant is to ensure all public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest of standards. Providing a clean and comfortable environment for all guests. Ensuring a polite and professional approach is used at all times.  

Demi chef de partie - Full time £14,500

Duties include planning, preparing and cooking food and banqueting work. You will be cooking within a 1851 kitchen you will be working as part of a busy team in our main kitchen so must be used to working under pressure in a busy and demanding role. Uniform provided. Own transport required. No live in available.

Pastry Chef de Partie

Duties include planning, preparing and cooking food and banqueting work. You will be cooking within the 1851 kitchen and you will be working as part of a busy team in our main kitchen so must be used to working under pressure in a busy and demanding role. Uniform provided. Own transport required. No live in available. This is a supervisory position.

Education/Qualifications/Training

Essential - Experience in a 3 rosette restaurant minimum of 1 year, NVQ level 3 Pastry, Intermediate food hygiene

Desirable - High Level of craft skills

 

Skills and Knowledge

Essential - Clear communicator, Excellent Pastry craft skills, Ability to work well under pressure, ability to delegate

Desirable - Good Listener / communicator, ability to adapt, natural leader

 

Experience

Essential - Minimum of 1 year experience as a pastry chef

Desirable - Proven Quality background

 

Appearance and Disposition

Essential - Smart, Clean and tidy

 

Personality and General Intelligence

Essential - Calm, Intelligent, outgoing, helpful, 'Can do' attitude

 

Physical Requirement

Essential - Flexible Hours, Driving Licence
