Peckforton Castle invites you, your family, and your friends to enjoy some fabulous 'Muddy Good Fun'.

Offering a selection of exciting and interactive outdoor activities to enjoy, the Castle truly is a stunning and magical backdrop for your playground. Whether you are looking to embrace the fast, furious and muddy or take it a little easier with some light entertainment for all the family, the choice is yours. Either way this is going to be a muddy good stay with a difference.

Very Muddy

Mud glorious mud; choose from a selection of high octane outdoor pursuits that are sure to give you a muddy good time.

Less Muddy

Just as much fun as our very muddy activities but just not as fast paced, from a family puzzle trail or a test of skill on the Crazy Golf Course to hitting the bulls eye with archery or air rifle shooting.

Younger Family: The Family Puzzle Trail

A great activity for all the family, get some fresh area and explore the nooks and crannies of this enchanting Castle and estate. You will receive a map of the grounds that highlights 12 areas that you need to search to find 12 challenging clues to solve, the clues are tailored to our younger family members and a separate 12 for the more mature participants, so something for everyone. A rewarding team task to keep everyone entertained. Why not add a bit of your own twist to the game as you pursue the next clue with animal and nature spotting, but no extra points will be awarded if it's just for your own entertainment.

There really is something for all ages to experience.

KONG' Aerial Ropes Course

'Kong' is an oversized aerial obstacle course that is made up of a network of ropes mingled with bridges, steps, swings and all wound around and suspended within some of the finest Cheshire woodland:
