Featuring modern British cuisine, the Table d’Hôte and A la Carte menus are brimming with fine dining options, some classic with a modern twist and others as full of imagination as they are of flavour. Holder of 2 AA Rosettes and a Taste Cheshire Award, the 1851 Restaurant treats diners and guests to the Castle to a gastronomic extravaganza featuring carefully selected, locally grown and reared produce, including Cheshire salmon, cheese, Goosnargh duck and local beef. Alternatively the more informal and cosmopolitan 2010 Brasserie, located in the former scullery of the castle, which features many of the amazing features of the original scullery including two cast iron cooking ranges dating back to the 1840's. The extensive menu offers , Panini’s, soup, pasta, fish & chips, Rib Eye steak to name but a few. The knights and maidens menu designed by local schoolchildren is also a hit with the little ones.
