20 Year Anniversary

On the 20th June 2006, a new chapter began in the story of Peckforton Castle. The castle was the first property in what would later become the Boutique Hotel Group by the Naylor family, who have lovingly taken care of the Castle and invested into it, to create a dream destination for weddings, inspired by Chris Naylor’s own wedding at the Castle in 2005.

Over the last 20 years, thousands of couples have had their fairytale wedding at Peckforton Castle.  Along the way, challenges were faced by our family business – including the devastating fire of 2011. And like so many, we adapted through the unprecedented years of COVID. Together, we rebuilt, recovered, and welcomed love back through our doors.

We continued to invest in the Castle, with beautifully refreshed interiors and guest experiences, including the launch of The Retreat – an exciting new addition to our private accommodation for groups, which launched in Spring 2026.

The Castle has also become an iconic backdrop for film, television, and celebrity celebrations.

“What a journey! The last 20 years have been filled with highs and lows, unforgettable moments, and the privilege of meeting and working alongside some truly incredible people. The story is still being written, and we look forward with excitement to the many chapters still to come.

Over the years, we have experienced so many wonderful successes, alongside challenges that have tested and shaped us. Through it all, we have faced everything together as a team, learning every step of the way and growing stronger because of it.

None of what we have achieved would have been possible without the dedication, passion, and commitment of the people around us. We will always be immensely grateful to every past and present member of the team who has helped make Boutique Hotel Group what it is today.

Peckforton Castle has come such a long way since Kate and I celebrated our wedding there and began our own life journey together. To now have the honour of being part of so many couples’ special days is something we never take for granted, and it is a privilege we continue to cherish deeply.

While I firmly believe that looking ahead is essential in building a successful business, it is equally important to pause and reflect on the journey so far the achievements, the lessons, and even the difficult moments as they have all helped shape who we are today and continue to guide us forward.

As a family, we know we are only custodians of this remarkable and magical building for a moment in its long history. It will stand proudly for generations long after us, and to play even a small part in its story is both a privilege and an honour. We feel incredibly fortunate to have been entrusted with that responsibility and look forward to continuing its story for many years to come.”

Full Terms and Conditions – Boutique Hotel Group 20th Anniversary Black Card Prize Draw

1. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.

2. The prize draw opens on 10 June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (BST) on 19 June 2026. Entries received after this time will not be included.

3. To enter, participants must comment on the official Prize Draw Facebook post published on the Peckforton Castle Facebook page or Instagram page, by either:

* Commenting on the post, sharing their favourite memory from any Boutique Hotel Group venue;
Or:
* Commenting on the post by tagging the person they would most like to share the prize with.

4. Only one entry per person will be counted. Multiple comments by the same individual may be disqualified or treated as a single entry at the discretion of Boutique Hotel Group.

5. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received on the promotional Facebook post or Instagram post.

6. The winner will be drawn on 20 June 2026, coinciding with the 20th anniversary celebrations of Peckforton Castle and the Boutique Hotel Group.

7. The winner will receive a Boutique Hotel Group Black Card, which entitles the named cardholder to:

* One overnight stay for two people at Peckforton Castle, Nunsmere Hall Hotel, and Inglewood Manor each calendar year;
* The benefit for the lifetime of the named winner.

8. The Black Card will be issued as a physical card displaying the winner’s full name and photograph.

9. All stays are subject to availability and must be booked in advance through the Boutique Hotel Group reservations team.

10. The prize includes overnight accommodation only. Food, beverages, travel costs, and any other incidental expenses are not included.

11. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

12. The winner will be notified by a reply to their winning comment and asked to contact Boutique Hotel Group via Facebook or Instagram Messenger to claim their prize.

13. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, Boutique Hotel Group reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.

14. Boutique Hotel Group reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.

15. Boutique Hotel Group reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the prize draw at any time where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
