Car Parking and Approach

We have a drop off point at the main entrance/reception area, where valet parking is available 24/7 and 2 designated accessible parking spaces adjacent to the chapel.
All parking is free of charge.

The main entrance has automatic doors and is at one level from outside to inside.

Please note that our carpark is situated on an uneven surface. If you do suffer with mobility issues, please utilise our complimentary valet parking facilities by driving straight up to the reception entrance.

Reception

Reception desks have chairs for guests and low access points.
There is a seating area in the main reception.
We have an Induction loop for use at the front desk.
The entrance and all main corridors are anti-slip.
Fridges available for medicine on request.

Bedrooms

We have 12 accessible bedrooms out of a total of 48. 1 of which has a level entry shower, the remaining rooms all have a walk in shower and free standing baths accessible from both sides.
6 of our accessible rooms have adjoining doors to another bedroom for the use of our guests who need to have their carer nearby.
1 room on the ground floor has alarms/pull cords for use in case of emergency. All other accessible rooms have access to a call point. These alarms are linked to our 24 hour manned reception.
On request we can provide a list of hire services for hoists/bed blocks.
All 48 bedrooms have TV’s with subtitles/teletext.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

All accessible bedrooms on the first floor are located close to escape stairs, each with a Refuge point and Evac Chair.

Public areas

We have 2 accessible toilets throughout the public areas of the building.
There is a lift giving access to our 10 accessible bedrooms.
All signage meets the appropriate requirements with regard to visibility and legibility.
3 stair lifts in public areas.

Restaurant, Bar and Lounge

Brassiere and lounge are located on the ground floor.
The restaurant is accessible by stair lift.
Our chefs are able to meet any dietary requirements.
We have a vast choice of seating areas away from noise or congestion.
We offer 24 hour room service.

Other

Assistance dogs are very welcome.
Our website is available to view on both tablet and mobile devices.
All our staff have attended the company induction and have a good understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act and the National Accessible Scheme.
