BOOKING TERMS
We want your experience at Peckforton Castle to be seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free. Below is a simple summary of our key booking terms. These are designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with UK consumer law.
Key Points You Should Know
PAYMENT
· All bedroom, wedding, event, and package bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
· A valid credit or debit card is required to secure your reservation.
· A pre-authorisation may be taken on arrival to cover incidental charges and will be released after departure (subject to your card provider).
CANCELLATIONS
Bedrooms (non-promotional bookings):
· You may cancel up to 48 hours before arrival (by 12 noon).
· A £50 per room, per night cancellation fee applies.
· Cancellations within 48 hours or non-arrivals are charged at 100% of the booking value.
WEDDINGS
· Wedding bedroom bookings have a 28-day cancellation period.
· Cancellations within 28 days are charged at 100% of the contracted value.
· Wedding deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
PROMOTIONAL & THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS
· Promotional rates and third-party vouchers (e.g. Groupon/Wowcher) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
· Third-party bookings are subject to the provider’s own cancellation terms.
PUBLIC EVENTS & CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS
· All public events, Christmas accommodation, lunches, and parties must be paid in full when booked.
· These bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable unless agreed in writing.
· Availability is only guaranteed once full payment is received.
COTS & EXTRA BEDS
· Subject to availability.
· Cot: £10 per night
· Extra bed: £30 per night
PETS
· Pets are not permitted, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
WEDDINGS & EVENTS- GUEST CONDUCT
· As a four-star wedding venue, we ask all guests to behave respectfully.
· The booking client is responsible for the conduct of their guests.
· Any damage caused by guests may be charged to the booking client.
· We reserve the right to refuse service or require guests to leave if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.
UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
· In rare situations where we must cancel your booking (for example, due to events beyond our control), you will be offered:
· An alternative date, or a full refund of any money paid.
COMPLAINTS
· If something isn’t right, please speak to a member of our team during your stay so we can help immediately.
